Year 10 Students from Longton High School came into the City Learning Centre T.V Studio to make a short film for their G.N.V.Q Business Studies Class.
The students spent the whole day putting to together their short program, each taking differing roles in the production. They took charge of the roles of Camera person, Presenters, Director, Production Assistant and Editors.
Media Technologist Phil Gregory took the role of floor manager for the production.
After seeing the finished product their teacher, Mrs Hancock was overcome with excitement. She said
“I’m very proud of the way they all worked with minimal supervision”
Phil said of the group afterwards. ” I think that the group was one of the best I have worked with, their attitude was professional and they were all enthusiastic and polite. Most importantly though they worked hard to meet the deadline and get the job done. They are a credit to Longton High School”
